2021 Membership Update
We are approaching that time of year when, as avid Penn State football fans, we begin to get excited about seeing the Nittany Lions on the field again.
As you most likely have seen by now, the Athletic Department has announced its plan to return to 100% capacity at Beaver Stadium for football games this Fall. This is exciting news!! We all know that few things will bring us more pleasure than Penn State Football returning to normal for the 2021 season and the team playing in front of more than 107,000 cheering fans in a packed Beaver Stadium.
As for the State College Quarterback Club, obviously we hope to return to normal as well and be able to hold our in-person weekly events at the Mount Nittany Club and the end-of-season Football Banquet at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. We have been in communication with Sandy Barbour, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Scott Sidwell, Deputy Director for Athletics-External, about our plans and what will be possible.
We don’t have a definitive answer for you yet. We do expect, however, to receive more information in the next few weeks regarding the possible use of the Mount Nittany Club and how we can conduct our events for the 2021 football season. You will be hearing from us again at that time. We know everyone is anxious to get started so we appreciate your patience.
Thank you for your loyalty and support of the State College Quarterback Club. We very much appreciate it. If you have specific questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to an exciting season!
Vince Dadamo, President, State College Quarterback Club
