Kick-off the 2019 Football Season at a Quarterback Club Summer Social
2015 Membership Application
Dear Quarterback Club Applicant,
The first day of Summer is now only a week away, so it’s that time of year again to submit your membership application for the State College Quarterback Club and renew your support of the Penn State football team! As devoted Nittany Lion fans, I know you are as excited as I am for the start of another fabulous PSU Football Season.
The first Penn State Football Game of 2015 will be held at Temple on Saturday, September 5th, which is right around the corner. Our first Club Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2nd, prior to that game and will be held in the Mount Nittany Club of Beaver Stadium.
As always, the doors open at 11:00 AM with access through Stadium Gate B. Handicap access is available through the All Sports Museum. The scrumptious Buffet Lunches from Campus Catering are offered beginning at 11:00 AM. Our weekly program follows at approximately 11:50 AM and is moderated by Steve Jones, the voice of Penn State Football.
Based on availability and class schedules, two Penn State Football players will join us for lunch and a brief discussion. Following will be highlights from various members of the Football Staff. I’m happy to report that Coach James Franklin will also be attending all of our luncheons this Fall.
Thanks to the support of our Corporate Sponsors and the hard work of your Quarterback Club Board of Directors, the weekly buffet lunches will remain the same price as last year at $20.00 per week for members and $25.00 for guests. Please remember, as in other years, guests may only attend one (1) luncheon per year as a non-member.
Also, through the generous underwriting of the Penn State Athletic Office, all of our weekly parking costs and facility rental fees for the Mount Nittany Club are being covered. In any given year, those expenses alone add up to almost $80,000. We are very grateful for this contribution and it is important for our Quarterback Club membership to understand and appreciate the continued support we receive from Penn State.
Parking passes will be provided as a benefit of your membership.
Join me as we look forward to the 2015 Season, by renewing your membership today! To join, make your check payable to: The State College Quarterback Club (SCQBC) and select one of the three membership options.
First weekly luncheon – Wednesday, August 29th
The 2012 Penn State Football home opener on September 1st is right around the corner!
The first luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Mount Nittany Club of Beaver Stadium. As always, the doors open at 11 AM with access through Gate B. Handicap access is available through the All Sports-Museum. The buffet lunches are offered beginning at 11:00 AM, followed by the program, moderated by our own Steve Jones who will be joined by two players and Coach O’Brien or another member of the coaching staff.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- We are excited to announce that Coach Bill O’Brien has confirmed his attendance at our first luncheon.
- As a result of overwhelming response to our first luncheon, guests will not be permitted due to space limitations.
- Due to scheduling restrictions, we do not have advance notice of which players will be attending our weekly luncheons.
