UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The State College Quarterback Club is accepting renewals and new members for the 2012 season.

The Quarterback Club hosts a weekly luncheon during the Penn State Football season at The Mount Nittany Club in Beaver Stadium. Head Coach Bill O’Brien and the Nittany Lion coaching staff and squad members will be among the guests, according to Club president Pete Rohrer.

The Quarterback Club will begin its weekly luncheons on Wednesday, August 29 at The Mount Nittany Club in Beaver Stadium. The luncheons feature a member of the coaching staff and two football student-athletes each week. There will be 12 luncheons on the Wednesday prior to each game, with no luncheon scheduled on October 10 since the football team has an open date on Oct. 13.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch is served until the program begins at 11:50 a.m.

All Quarterback Club members are admitted through Gate B to the luncheons with their membership cards. Each are given parking passes valid in a separate section of Upper Lot 44, just across from the south end of the stadium. In addition, handicapped parking will be available in the Bryce Jordan Center ADA Lot and Stadium West Lot on a first come-first served basis.

The State College Quarterback Club supports the Penn State football program and is open to all fans of the Nittany Lions. The Club annually sponsors the Penn State Football Banquet, which salutes the Nittany Lion seniors.
